Please note my 'custom  front plate' and the 500,000 candle power Cibe driving lights in the intake mouth! I just a crazy light person as anyone who has seen my other cars can tell!

Mary, Me and Mike Pay [Pk2Pker] helping a stranded Biker on the Schafer Trail in Canyonlands
Mary and me as well as Mike Pay  [a fellow Peak to Peak MC member]  helping a stranded biker on the way down Schafer Trail in Canyonlands  ...... our ride a '85 CJ7, is called "MUD MAGNET"  we love to four wheel in the red rock country of Utah - Colorado. This trip was a two day event with Mike and Rhonda Pay on the White Rim, one of the finest Jeep runs in America IMHO!!!

Me and 1st Cell Phone!Knobmeister at a young age with his first 'cell phone' ! Some people remember this photo from my first web site! Had to have it on this my second version of my web pages. Had a lot of people comment on this photo!

My mom loves this photo .......... ahhhhh moms!

Mary and Joe at Dallas National Miata Convention 1999 Mary and Joe Portas at their booth at Texas Motor Speedway during the National Miata Convention 1999 . Loved being a vendor in these posh facilities. {They were the Mechanics pit area garage of the raceway ...... we  were in a cool open garage out from under the blazing Texas sun!} This was a great event for us as we meet lots of Miata owners from all over the US, Canada and Europe!

Bullet Holes in MX5The photo to the left shows what "KNOBzilla" would look like if parked in the wrong place in Chicago during the 'roaring twenties'!
Actually they are removable "magnetic decal bullet holes" I won at Peak to Peak's Christmas Party last December. Just got around to see what they would look like on my Miata. From a distance they look like real bullet holes! Had fun putting them on the Jeep too, but they didn't look as distinctive as on the MX5! [No one would think they are out of the ordinary here in 'Gun Happy' Colorado!]  I plan to sport them on my car when we do Miatas in Moab in May ...... I wonder if anyone will notice!

On the Skyway in NC going back to Colorado in the Clouds! Van & Knobzilla on Skyway Great Smoky Moutains
Here is QEII and "KNOBzilla" on my trailer [a home built unit made by a farmer in Kansas].
I paid ~$800 for the rig and rebuilt the electric brakes and electrical system! Plus new tires! Works great!
I did add more clearance lights so that I can see what the trailer is doing back there at night!
Easily got my money for the investment! AND ...................................."KNOBzilla" feels like a queen!
The trailer-Van combo tracks so well at one time I caught myself going 85 + mph on the way
to Deal's Gap and could have gone faster!

Can ya tell I like lots of driving lights? They are great to spot stupid deer and elk on the roadway!
They are Hella 500 units wired to come on with the high beams!

New Ranch House and "GarageMahal"
The "Ranch" and Joe's 14 car "GarageMahal"
Here is a pix of my house and "GarageMahal" It's the equivalent of a 14 car garage ... double deep and has a
upper floor for storage! 1/3 is my office and warehouse 1/3 is my wood/metal shop and 1/3 is car storage!
All on 22 acres 50 miles SE of Denver!
The pix does not show Mary's three car garage or our great view of Pike's Peak!

Latest Vehicle addition!
"Goldie" A new 2004 Toyota 4Runner V8
2004 Toyota 4Runner "Goldie"

Now or some 4 X 4 adventure!
That's our 22 acres in the background with Pike's Peak in the distance!
